Please Stand By

Come gather 'round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone.
If your time to you
Is worth savin'
Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'.

Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won't come again
And don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
And there's no tellin' who
That it's namin'.
For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin'.

Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway
Don't block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There's a battle outside ragin'.
It'll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin'.

Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
And don't criticize
What you can't understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is
Rapidly agin'.
Please get out of the new one
If you can't lend your hand
For the times they are a-changin'.

The line it is drawn
The curse it is cast
The slow one now
Will later be fast
As the present now
Will later be past
The order is
Rapidly fadin'.
And the first one now
Will later be last
For the times they are a-changin'.

We recently celebrated our 4th anniversary in Quakertown. Over these past four years there has been many wonderful moments at the Studio, as well as an opportunity to make many new friends; both in our local Bucks County area, and from all over the country.

Like all things in our sentient world, the Law of Impermanence cannot be avoided. We will soon be closing our doors at 116 East Broad St., for the opportunity to open new doors elsewhere. We have been exploring options for the past year, and we believe that we are ready to execute them. Our retail business will soon be moving to the web. This will afford us to have a 24/7 business without having to maintain a physical shop with all the responsibilities. This will allow us more free time to pursue things that we have had on hold for years. It will allow our spiritual director, Mitch Nur the opportunity to finish projects that he started before opening the Studio, and to work on others that have recently come forward. For the past 6 years, he has forgone a vacation to spend time working with 2 Tibetan Lamas as their assistant; and to open a center in upper Bucks County that would offer genuine traditional spiritual studies, as well as programs that have never been offered by any center in the tri-state area. Many times, he has reached into his own pocket to sponsor teachings that he thought was critical to students, how many other local centers do this? His belief of putting others first, is his commitment to what is known in the East as Parchin Chu or the Ten Perfections.

Mitch will continue to offer his special programs and teachings in our local area, and because he will not be tied to a physical retail property, he can now offer these programs to others across the country. He will not be moving anywhere soon. He has a family here in Bucks County, that was actually started at the time of William Penn, which makes him an original Pennsylvanian; including his native Lenape bloodline as well.

Many of you over the past week have expressed many heartfelt emotions concerning these new directions. Some of you have actually thought that you are mourning the loss of a close family member. Look at this from the view that new opportunities will spring forth, that the energy is now changing and will produce new growth.

The Studio 116 newsletter that is issued each week, will now change to the 9ways Academia newsletter sometime in January. This way you can track his teaching schedule, and keep abreast of everything we will be doing. It will also alert you to programs presented by others, that the 9ways Academia is sponsoring; such as bringing in Tibetan Lamas. This version of the newsletter, which we call the digital newsletter will now come to an end with this issue.

The Studio 116 website will continue on the world wide web for sometime just to maintain a presence and act as a gateway to our web storefront, and the teaching schedule website at

A hearty thank you to everyone who has supported our spiritual clubhouse here in upper Bucks County, and to the teachers we brought in over the past 4 years, without you, this experience would have never existed.
