of retreat protocols, limit unnecessary talking in the Gompa, be respectful of Prayer Books, and please arrive early for the
daily sessions.

The East Coast teachings will be held on the 400 acre Mount Saint Alphonsus retreat center located in the Hudson Valley,
overlooking the Hudson River in Esopus, New York. The Mount offers private and semi private rooms, most with a view of the
Hudson River. Baths are shared, and there is a laundry room with washers and dryers available. Wireless internet is also available
within the building.

Directions to the Mount

Our retreat at the Mount will also include a special welcoming ceremony when His Holiness arrives at the Mount, an expression
of our appreciation for his return to our country.

On the last evening of the retreat we will host a Tibetan Cultural evening, featuring a traditional Tibetan dinner with His
Holiness, an evening of Tibetan entertainment provided by the Tibetan community of New York, and a blessing by His Holiness.
This special evening program will be held in a large tent set up on the spacious grounds of the Mount. We will be joined by
the local Tibetan community. The Tibetan Cultural program is included in the retreat cost, however, you may register for just
the Tibetan Cultural evening for those that cannot participate in the retreat, but still would like to spend time and receive
a blessing from the 33rd Gyalwa Menri Trizin.
